DEDICATED TO OUR FOCUS ON
BIO-BASED ADDITIVES

Biorenewable
Biorenewability refers to anything that can be renewed or produced via biological or non-synthetic means. Our chemistries, including bio-based surfactants and biodegradable surfactants, serve as feedstock for the chemical industry, keeping the cycle in motion.

Biosustainable
Biosustainability refers to the ability of an ecosystem (or, in our case, chemistry) to remain productive over time. We develop green surfactants and bio-based surfactants that maintain effectiveness while minimizing environmental impact.

Biodegradable
A biodegradable surfactant breaks down through microbial activity, returning to natural components. LFS Chemistry products, including our biodegradable surfactants, are designed to reduce waste and promote environmental responsibility.

MC² scoring
Our MC² scoring system (Modern Carbon Content) measures sustainability by dividing the number of carbons derived from renewable sources by the total number in an active ingredient. A high MC² surfactant contains a greater percentage of bio-based carbon.
